This stone wall shows the existence of vineyards in the past. The road next to him served to transport the vineyard in cars. The natural road ends at the Corbera river, flowing into the Llobregat river. In that place, there was the Barca Pass. A wooden boat carried passengers and merchandise across the Llobregat River, before the Molins Bridge (N-II) was built. Imagine the importance of that boat in those times. Hence the population toponymy: San Andrés de la Barca.
