Vandring
The dairymen's busy day begins early in the morning. The cows are milked and then driven to the lush pastures.
From mid-June to mid-September, up to 200 cattle are grazing on the alpine pastures.
Our milk is centrifuged, separating the cream from the skimmed milk. The cream is used to make full-fledged alpine butter and the skimmed milk is used to make the typical Vallminger grey cheese.
The cheese residues, i.e. jute or whey, are fed directly to the pigs on the alpine pastures, from which the homemade Kaminwurzen sausages and tasty bacon are made.

Vandring
The Vallmingalm looks like a quaint little village and is located in a valley at 1,800 m above sea level between mountain peaks at the end of a side arm of the Pflerschertal. The Alm is managed from June to October and can be used as a cozy place to stop for refreshments. The "Vallminger Graukas" is particularly well known - recommended for all those who can do something with strongly spicy dishes...

Great landscape, the alpine roses are currently starting to bloom. The cows are in the pasture and you can hear the sound of the cowbells, hear the rushing stream, enjoy the landscape. Beautiful place that is only open in summer. There is also shepherd's noodles
