Lake Misurina, also known as the "Pearl of the Alps", is one of the most beautiful mountain lakes in the Dolomites and is also the largest natural lake in Cadore. It lies at an altitude of 1,756 meters and its maximum depth is five meters.

Thanks to its location between the Sesto Dolomites and Cortina d'Ampezzo, Lake Misurina is ideal for hikes and mountain excursions of all kinds: A worthwhile hike leads, for example, up to the Forcella del Diavolo, past the Pian degli Spiriti and the Rifugio Fonda Savio.
