Vandring
The eastern entrance to the city is the Einersheimer Tor. Here, on April 4, 1525, the onslaught of the Bibart farmers' heap, who wanted to seize the city, failed. As with the Rödelseer Tor and the Pesttor, there is also a machicolation on the outside. Boiling pitch or hot water was poured from it on the attacking enemy. A stone cross in the gateway marks the spot where a citizen of Iphöfer was stabbed by the Swedes in 1632.
