Vandring

A fire in 1697 destroyed a large part of the building, which was rebuilt in 1700 and opened for worship. Hence the monastery factory in its current configuration dates from the 18th century. It has two large courtyards, which correspond to the typical typology of the monasteries of the Canary Islands and are based on wooden galleries. There is also a third open space, narrow and rear, which has the same characteristics as the previous ones. In the area adjacent to Anchieta Street is the so-called Beaterio, a group of private cells that are used by well-known religious.
