It's hard to think of brick works as beautiful, but you'll find this one in a particularly spectacular location. Right on the Anglesey coastline at Porth Wen, exploring this ruined Victorian works site against a sea backdrop is quite remarkable.

Despite its level of erosion, there's plenty to find here from kilns and chimneys to the crushing house and its eerie doorways.

Great lost place to explore. With a bit of industrial background you can easily decipher the former function of the buildings. Some installations are left and get more and more rusty. The view over the bay is nice and the grassfield is inviting for a picknic (if not already occupied).
