Between El Costillo and Playa de Esquinzo you can easily hike along the low cliffs on the coastal plateau and enjoy watching the spectacle of the rolling waves.

The semi-desert area is one of the unique ecosystems and one of the most important habitats for the steppe birds on the island. a. the endemic collar staircase, the animal that symbolizes Fuerteventura.

Vandring

I recommend walking the stretch of coast from El Cotillo over the mountains. A great view of the sea is offered! On the way back, a small (easy to walk) path leads past various beach sections and beautiful cliffs, back to El Cotillo
