At the station Gesundbrunnen you can not only get on the S-Bahn, but on certain days with historical steam trains from the club "Eisenbahnfreunde Berlin" drive. The seats in the cars are in great demand, so you should definitely reserve in advance. But even if you have not got a seat, the sight of a puffing steam locomotive is quite impressive.

Vandring

Numerous transfer options to regional and long-distance traffic, to the S-Bahn to the subway and to the bus. There is also a large shopping center, the Gesundbrunnencenter, right at the train station. At the underground station you can book tours through the Berlin underworld (at least before Corona). All platforms are barrier-free with elevators. There are also escalators everywhere.
