Vandring

The well maintained by the PWV Ritterstein should remember the government director Cramer, who was the care of the Palatinate Forest at heart. In his honor, this really beautiful path was called Cramer Path. At the beginning and at the end of this path there is a Ritterstein Cramer path.

Vandring

"The Cramer Trail was named after Mr. Heinrich Cramer (1866-1927). Since there were difficult sections of the trail between Madenburg and Trifels, the forestry assessor at the time arranged for a hiking trail to be built to make it easier to reach both hiking destinations. Since he made a name for himself in the Palatinate Forest, the trail was named after him." Source (quoted verbatim): kuladig.de/Objektansicht/KLD-324120
The grave of "Heinrich Cramer, government director" and his wife "Emilie Cramer, née Brüstle, (1877 - 1957)" still exists today in the Annweiler cemetery.
