The Palmarium Lodge is one of the few that is run under local, Malagasy management with very committed employees, especially when it comes to guided tours in the reserve. Rico Jean Maurice, for example, is very ambitious and knowledgeable here, someone really knows his stuff. This place is not just a lemur park, it is also a refuge and habitat for many other endemic animals.

Both a night hike and the hikes during the day are extremely informative! You can hardly get this close to the numerous lemur species anywhere else!
It is also a very nice place to stay overnight! Even as a day guest you can observe the animal world on a guided tour.
