The sights are lined up here. Particularly striking is the Aachen Cathedral, which in 1978 was Germany's first monument to be entered on the UNESCO World Heritage List. Münsterplatz, Katschhof, Center Charlemagne and the town hall are the closest surroundings and core of the buffer zone set up to protect the cathedral. If you are in the mood for a compact and exciting sightseeing in Aachen, you've come to the right place.

The Katschhof is a very well located place to take a nice photo of both the cathedral and the town hall opposite. All the numerous influencers who come here when the weather is nice can't be wrong.
