Very close to the quiet cobblestone road stand two magnificent, healthy giant oaks. They are almost unbelievably thick. I estimate the width or diameter of one of the trees to be a good 2 meters. That makes a very impressive circumference of approximately 6.3 meters. - You should measure it precisely, just for fun!

A very nice, quiet resting spot, but unfortunately, there's no view of Lake Wolletz. Trees and thick bushes completely block the view.

South of the lake is the impressive Grumsin beech forest, which is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Anyone traveling in this area will certainly appreciate the refuge, as it offers a practical break on the long walk around the lake.
