Wanderung durch das Haaksbergerveen,mit Bohlenweg
Nach langer Abwesenheit konnte ich meinen Freund zur einem kleinen Spaziergang erwärmen. Zu Beginn mit Kaiserwetter ging es in das bekannteste Feuchtgebiet der Niederlande. Wildgänse waren nur zu hören. Die Wege sind schon mega gut zu gehen.

After yesterday's chaotic start (technical glitch at Düsseldorf University of Applied Sciences), we explored the Danube yesterday.
This morning, the focus was more on Pest and the parks.
With the best weather and plenty of shade, I can only say: Budapest is always worth a visit.

Medusa, from Greek mythology, is a monster with wings and snake hair, and her chest is also armed with snake coils.
The sight of her turned everyone to stone, except us. 😀
This is a nice little loop through lots of forest and heath.
You can't help but notice that the Dutch have great bike paths; we Germans

Putten is a village and municipality in the province of Gelderland. East of the village lie the beautiful forests and heathland of the Veluwe.
These will be our destination for the next few days.
Beforehand, we briefly explored the area surrounding the hotel in sunny 30-degree weather.

We actually wanted to do a longer hike between Benrath Palace and Zons, but the weather and the fatigue after yesterday's spa day at Vabali in Düsseldorf made us weak.
So, all that was left was a short hike in the most beautiful village near Dormagen.

From the Old Town to Flehe.
The tour is designed as a circular route and leads from the Old Town via Hamm to Flehe. It encompasses much of what Düsseldorf has to offer its residents and guests. It leads through a predominantly agricultural district like Hamm with its cabbages, also known locally as "Kappes

@Wetho, a huge thank you for the invitation to the hike in the Haaksbergerveen! The moorland was impressive even at this time of year, although the sun set later. But it wasn't just nature that was wonderful; our conversation was truly delightful too.
