About Nockberge

Flatschacher und Maltschacher See garantieren zudem herrliche Badeerlebnisse.

You don't always have to stand on a peak to enjoy the magical morning atmosphere in the Nockberge Biosphere Park. Because in the early hours of the day the fog hangs over the mountain lakes and the soft splashing of the water on the shore and the first chirping of the birds are the only sounds that await

    1. The starting point for this morning hike is right on the well-known Nockalm Road. You can park your car in the car park opposite the Glockenhütte - then follow the hiking trail that leads directly from the car park in the direction of Klomnock.

You can reach the 2,331 meter high summit after a good 1

    1. In the early morning it is very quiet around the Turrachsee. If you set off on this sunrise hike from there, you'll likely be one of the few hikers heading towards Rinsennock. The Turrachsee is also the destination of the hike.

You first follow the Barbaraweg from the lake into the mountains. Be prepared

    1. With a good 15 kilometers and a few hundred meters of altitude up and down, this hike to the 2,035 meter high Mirnock is quite a challenge. So if you're in the mood for a challenging sunrise tour, then this is for you. Otherwise you can of course also start this tour with the first light in summer to

From the Millstätter Hütte you follow the wide gravel path towards the Alexanderhütte, you will pass the water-spouting Nock dragon. In a dangling it goes to the Tschierwegernock.
