At the beginning of the last stage of the spa cycle path, you will roll down comfortably from Bad Grönenbach. It goes through a wonderfully wide landscape of fields and meadows. After about twelve kilometers you can pedal properly for the first time again. A small climb leads you through a refreshing forest to Ottobeuren. Here you can take a break, for example in one of the cafes on the market square overlooking the impressive basilica.Afterwards you cycle on a hill. Here, the view is worthwhile, because from the highest point you have a wonderful view of Ottobeuren. Continue on in a sweeping descent into the valley of the eastern Günz, which you cross to climb another hill on the other side of the valley. Past bouquets, fields, pastures and beautiful forests you cycle up and down. Small villages and cozy cafés along the way invite you to take leisurely breaks until you finally reach Bad Wörishofen, the destination of the spa cycle path. Not only refreshing Kneipp pools await you here, but also the thermal bath, where you can enjoy your final relaxation program under high palm trees before you start your journey home by train.

Passing the mountain of God leaves the Upper Swabian Bad Wurzach. A short detour to the mountain is worthwhile, because at the top there is not only a magnificent Salvatorian monastery, but from there you can also enjoy a wonderful view of the picturesque hilly landscape through which you cycle afterwards. Lush pastures and wide fields line the edge of the road until the forest of Diepoldshof opens up in front of you, which you cross on a beautiful trail. Shortly after you reach Leutkirch in the Allgäu. This is almost halfway and is therefore ideal for a break. The hosts of the city's cafes and restaurants look forward to serving you delicious regional dishes.Freshly fortified, you then cycle past the city pond, climb over a wooded hill and dive behind it again into the wide pastureland. Forest, field and meadows alternate as you cycle towards Illerbeuren. Here you can pay a visit to the Swabian Farm Museum or relax with a piece of cake and a cup of coffee. At the picturesque Iller you leave the place and then master the last climb of the day, which leads you to the stage destination Bad Grönenbach. Here you can refresh your legs while kneeing, be it in one of the Kneipp pools or in the Kneipp spa.

Behind Aulendorf you cycle through beautiful forests and meadows. The bike path will take you along the Steinach for a while and then make a detour to Reute. Past the impressive monastery of the village you cycle through the Steinacher Ried to Bad Waldsee. In the Moorheilbad and Kneipp health resort worth a first break at the city lake. On the shore you will find many cafes and restaurants, where you can enjoy the Swabian cuisine. Your tired legs will breathe life into the water at the lake again. With renewed energy you will walk through beautiful fields and meadows, which stretch on shallow hills. From the higher elevations, you can enjoy beautiful views of the picturesque landscape, small villages and sparkling ponds in the sun. After a steeper climb you reach Wolfegg. Here you can take a breather and visit the farmhouse museum or just stop by the castle café and enjoy a piece of cake with an invigorating coffee. On a relatively flat plateau you then cycle through enchanting scenery to the stage destination Bad Wurzach. In the Vitalium-Therme you can relax at the end of the day well deserved, for example, in a moor bath in Holzzuber.

Passing pretty half-timbered houses, you will roll out of Bad Saulgau at the beginning of the second stage and dive into a beautiful landscape of colorful fields, wide meadows and quiet forests. On a slightly hilly route it goes to Bad Buchau, the first stopover. Here you can stop in one of the inviting cafes or restaurants and enjoy the delicious Swabian cuisine. Even small detours on foot through the park or the nearby Wackelwald worth it. This is called because the marshy soil on which the trees stand is so soft after rain that they wiggle with every step. After this eventful stop in Bad Buchau you will continue cycling through the picturesque landscape of Upper Swabia. It goes over pleasant hills, wide fields and through romantic forest. Shortly before Bad Schussenried you will pass a quiet bathing lake, where you can take a leisurely break. If you are hungry now, the brewery restaurant in Bad Schussenried offers to strengthen you. With renewed strength you drive then the last few kilometers to the stage destination Aulendorf, where you can end the day in the Swabian Therme with a relaxing wellness program.

The cycle tour on the Bäderradweg starts in Überlingen, where you can easily reach by train. After you have enjoyed the beautiful city on Lake Constance with its Mediterranean flair, the spa and the many Kneipp pools, it starts. On the shores of Lake Constance you cycle comfortably out of the city, which is the only Kneipp spa in Baden-Wuerttemberg. Past picturesque vineyards and Castle Maurach on one side and the wide lake on the other, you drive on a flat stretch to Oberuhldingen. After crossing the village, you climb into the hilly countryside of Lake Constance. A beautiful route with a light but continuous slope will take you past sparkling ponds and small woodland and through a beautiful field and meadow landscape, which extends in gentle waves in front of you. The last part of the long ascent you drive through the wild and romantic Rotach valley, which rushes through a picturesque forest. After just over half of the stage you reach Wilhelmsdorf. In the village there are various restaurants and cafes for a cozy break and a small lake invites you to swim on hot days. If you already have tired legs and would like to stay here, you will also find a few accommodations in the village and in the neighboring villages. From Wilhemsdorf you cycle first through the Pfrunger Ried, one of the largest raised bogs in Germany. Afterwards, alternating romantic forests and a wide field and meadow landscape wait for you until you reach the stage destination Bad Saulgau. Here you can treat yourself after this exhausting stage a relaxing bath in the Sonnenhof spa.
