Today we went on a tour of discovery along the Spree between Fürstenwalde / Spree and Hangelsberg. For a planned group canoe tour, mooring and access points should be mapped🧭🗺, you want to be prepared🤓. In the back of my head I still had the hope that ☠ROBIN🥾 would cut at least part of the meadow path free on his tour.😅 We couldn't check that - unfortunately we didn't get that far. Between Hangelsberg and Fürstenwalde we only walked a short distance directly on the Spree: it would have taken a boat 🛶 ... or rather comfortable rubber boots. The water was at least ankle high and there was no alternative to dodging the flooded path into the meadow - you couldn't even see the water there, but only heard it with a juicy splash with every step Almost identical to the Great Potion. Nevertheless, we found a couple of good landing stages. Just like a very nice piece of hiking trail in front of Hangelsberg, which I didn't know before. From the Große Tränke, after bridging the Oder-Spree Canal, I continued to the left, initially on the southern route of the Jakobsweg. I had read somewhere that there was also an alternative to the forestry-like path directly on the Fürstenwalder Spree - me mean, it was at #Frank Meyer. This varied route ran through beautiful forests🌳🌲, over meadows🌾🌼 and with many rest areas with a view of the Spree. Wonderful🤩. Only shortly before Fürstenwalde we went back to the Jakobsweg, which then swung to the Spree and led us over a beautiful riverside path into the cathedral city. On the last few kilometers through the Spreeuferpark, the image of a sparkling refreshment at La Brigada became more and more solid, where we arrived exactly on the minute we reserved and were able to enjoy the almost late summer evening on the terrace with a view of the Spree
A really wonderful route, even more beautiful if the path on the Spree does not turn into a swimming route due to heavy and continuous rain ... and a predecessor has diligently cleared the meadow path
