Cycling from Schöngeising to Munich and seeing almost nothing but forest and fields - that's a great route. You also pass the Parsberg hollow paths and the ramparts of a former castle. There are also places to stop off at Germeringer Lake, in the Waldheim beer garden (and in Germering and Graefelfing).

Sometimes you walk through wide valleys, then you have steep ascents and descents again. Very often you walk close to spectacular high rock faces. I couldn't stop being amazed. A fairly leisurely tour. We skipped the first hut (Fodara Vedla) after 1 hour. Then it's down a driveway to the Pederü hut (which is very expensive and has a bus parking lot): Breathtaking the totally vertical huge wall above you!
