Today we went to Neustadt an der Weinstrasse with Katja and her son. 🥾🥾🥾😎The tour was seen at Nicole☀️ and saved directly.😉 Thanks for the inspiration. 👍🏼😎We started at the Sacred Heart Monastery and first went up to the Freytag family mausoleum at the sign of the “Kult (primeval) forest” themed trail.
From there it went to Hambach Castle 🏰, from which one has a beautiful view. First down past the castle and then again on narrow paths up to the atonement cross, where we were offered a magnificent view! 🤩
You have a great view of Hambach & Neustadt an der Weinstrasse, Hambach Castle 🏰 and the wine villages of Diedesfeld and Kirrweiler.
It's worth spending some time here and enjoying this view. (Tables are available🥪🥨🥐☕️🍻) ☺️😉
Strengthened and enriched with great impressions, it went on to the Bergstein, from which you also have a great view of the Rhine plain and the Hambach Castle. We continued through the Palatinate Forest, which offers idyllic tranquility, to the Speierheld refuge
Via the Kanonenweg to the stone of wise satisfaction and from there downhill to the Zigeunerfels, which also offered us a beautiful view. Now it was always downhill to Vagabundenfelsen with a great view of Wolfsburg and back to the starting point.
I can only recommend this path. It was really great. 🤩
You can see beautiful trails, great viewpoints and interesting rocks on this path.

Today I went spontaneously to the water trail to the waterfalls! (at the moment you can admire great icicles here)However, I changed the way. I parked at the K18 up on the Sickinger Höhe, where you can admire a great view!
Then it went down to the Landhotel-Weihermühle, which looked very good. Unfortunately there is no stop at the moment! 😔

On the Wasserschaupfad, you can experience first-hand mystical places that have played a role in different cultures for thousands of years. 🤩
The elemental force of the water has left a peculiar landscape idyll here. The bizarre rock formations, the forest and the stream make a hiking tour on the traces of the earth's history possible.
It was pretty busy though. 🙈
Best to go during the week or early in the morning. I left around 3 p.m.!
      LG Daniel.

Today the dream loop "Water Poet Traces" was on the plan.So let's go to the Thalfang National Park Association on the Erbeskopf. 🚗💨🥾😎You parked at the parking lot, Heidenburg sports facilities, Buchenweg 1, 54426 HeidenburgThis tour really surprised me. 🥾🤩
After the not so beautiful dream loop “Wind, Wasser & Wacken”, which was also rated with 70 adventure points, I didn't think that this tour would inspire me. Wrong thought! 😎
Variety is guaranteed on this tour. 🥾Passages through dark fir trees, through fields and meadows, views over the Hunsrück heights or the view of the steep slopes on the Moselle near Leiwen and Trittenheim, as well as the valley of the small Dhron are all to be enjoyed. ☺️
There are a few interesting ascents and descents to master. 🦵🏼💪🏼🥾
Then these trails past the rocks 🪨. Just great. 🥾😎👍🏼
A great path that I will go again in spring or autumn. 🥾👍🏼LG Daniel

Tour 2 for today, took us to the dream loop "Layensteig Strimmiger-Berg" in the Verbandsgemeinde Zell (Mosel)
Here I have to say clearly that the first, let's say 8 km, didn't convince me. 🤷🏻‍♂️
The path is actually not accessible at the beginning. Here we were partly ankle-deep in the mud because forest work (tree felling) was carried out on the tour.
It is positive to mention that the wider forest path always runs past the water for the first almost 8km. Otherwise the path was too wide and totally muddy for me.From picture 16 the way got better. 😎 It goes very close to the Flaumbach. ☺️
      I like that
In addition, there are three via ferratas integrated in the path (can be bypassed) and great views of the Hunsrück and the Moselle valley as far as the Eifel.
The path runs past old slate tunnels, slate spoil heaps and the reconstructed houses of the former slate tunnel workers. Very nice. 👍🏼Overall because of the last 6 km a great tour. 🥾😎LG Daniel

Today I started another tour 🥾😎
      2 dream loops were planned.
So start early in the morning for the first tour of the day. 😉It went to the community of Zell (Mosel) to the dream loop "Altlayer Switzerland". 🥾😎To anticipate it right away, this path was great! Exactly my taste. 🤩The way through the Altlayer Schweiz led us through sharp-edged, rugged slate cliffs, serpentine forest paths and impressive rocky passages.
We got to see some great distant views, which today weren't quite as good due to the weather. 🙃
I also found the idyllic, seemingly untouched stream valleys on this tour very beautiful. 😊LG Daniel

Today we went to Losheim again in great weather, to the last dream loop in this area. 🥾The dream loop “Lücknerweg” was still on my list. 😉So off to Losheim. 🚗
I parked at the Dellborner Mühle, which is also the starting point of this tour. 🥾😎
In a good mood and full of energy, I made my way through the forest area of the Little and Big Lückner, the great Odilienkapelle, 🤩 a jungle cell 🙃 around the Geisweiler Weiher and the Lourdes grotto on the Rammenfels 😎On the way, I experienced varied forest images in the hilly landscape of the Black Forest high forest.
As with the “Kleiner Lückner” dream loop, I really liked the trail past the Losheimer Bach. 🤩
Overall a great tour. Even if I had to cross the street 3-4 times. One could take the dream loop “Mannebach 111” as an example. There were even warning signs with the note: “Beware of hikers, you are crossing a busy road”. 👏🏼But that doesn't change the fact that I enjoyed the round. 🥾😎LG Daniel

Today we went to the dream loop "Köhlerpfad am Steinbach" in the Herrstein National Park Association.Today the tour offered us a great snow landscape ⛄️ with very beautiful landscapes.Along the Steinbach and in the villages along the way, you can marvel at the many installed signposts made of different materials and sizes.A successful mix characterizes this path in EdelSteinLand.I found the way quite good.We ran the saved tour, which I can't really recommend.
There are currently some detours signposted on the tour. As a result, we got into a piece of forest, where we had to look for a way through the snow again. 🥾🙈

Today we set off for the dream loop “Summit Rush”.What kind of tour was that !? 😅The road to the Hunsrückhaus National Park Information Center is closed and is also controlled by the police. 👍🏼
So we parked in Deuselbach and hiked up through the forest. 😅
Once at the top of the Hunsrückhaus, the hike started straight away. It goes up steeply in a small strip of forest next to the ski slope. Once at the top, you can see the sculpture Windklang, from which you have a great view of the Hunsrück to the Eifel. (Not today, though. We were almost alone there for that. 😎)

It went on to the Erbeskopfturm.
      It's really great. 👍🏼
However today also 0 prospect. Sure, in the weather.
From there the adventure trail really started. 🙈🙈🙈So you can't really go that way right now !!!There are branches, twigs, tree trunks all over the place. Through the deep snow, you could hardly see a way. So we sometimes stood almost up to our knees in the snow and mostly had to fight our way through deep snow 🙃.There's a lot to do here in spring. Some trees have to be removed from the paths. At the bottom the path actually led through a young fir forest, which we could not pass. 🙈 Here we stood in front of many overturned pine trees that blocked our way. So back again and looked for another way to the actual hiking trail.
Then it went again through the relatively high snow, cross-country. 😬
In the meantime, the feet were already a bit damp and cold, as the snow has pressed into the shoes under the pant legs. When looking for a new path, we are then really sunk into a water / mud hole. The shoes and stockings were completely wet. 🙈😬🥶The last 3-4 km we went back to the Hunsrückhaus with wet / cold socks and shoes. (That's why we walked a bit on the wider path. The actual path runs parallel, past a narrow path to the right.)
The path is currently not easily accessible. I therefore strongly advise against hiking this path. 🙈
For us it was still an eventful and fun hike. 🤪😂🤷🏻‍♂️
Thanks go out to my snow plow for paving our way through the wilderness. 💪🏻👍🏻😂Greetings daniel

2nd tour in the new year. 🥾🥾😎It went to Weiskirchen for the dream loop "Wildnis-Trail-Weiskirchen".A really great hike that we had today. 🤗The path led us in complete seclusion, over great snow-covered paths over the heights of the Black Forest high forest around Weiskirchen. We hiked through the “Behlengraben” nature reserve and the “Wahnbachtal” nature reserve.
We had to master difficult operation. 🙃⛄️❄️⛸🥾😎
It wasn't just a wilderness trail, it was partly an obstacle course. 😂
Some trees and larger branches have broken off under the weight of the snow. 😔
We had to climb over some tree trunks, and now and then go under the branches hanging down with snow. 😅
I already had fun. 😎I found the sections at the Holzbach, Schlittentaler Bach, Kübelbach and Wahnbach (where we also took a break) great. We hiked some great trails here and also crossed smaller and somewhat larger bridges. Very nice. 👍🏼👌🏼Overall, today was an eventful hike in a beautiful snowy landscape. 🥾❄️⛸⛄️😎LG Daniel.
