Chapeau, very nimble feet with an altitude difference of 1,000 meters. 👍👍

Today the Bitterfelder Bogen is our destination. Somehow it has been mentioned to us again and again as a landmark in the Bitterfeld district. Let's go in the direction of Goitzschesee. After only 14 kilometers it stands in front of us - the monument of change. The bikes have a break. On shoemaker's pony it goes quickly in a zigzag course on the long ramps a total of 540 meters up to the 21 meter high upper platform. The reward is the exceptionally good visibility. Bitterfeld and the Goitzschesee are at our feet.
An imposing building with a high recognition value. The journey continues to the Amber Promenade including a detour to the market square. It attracts coffee and cake. In the ice cream parlor at the level tower, this is still baked in-house.
The return journey takes us past the Holzweißiger Baltic Sea, Ludwigsee, Neuhauser See and Paupitzscher See to Schenkenberg. When you arrive at your destination, the bikes are loaded and you go back home.
We only take positive and very nice impressions home with us.

According to legend, there are also very beautiful lake landscapes including good bike paths in the central German coal region. A weekend trip should clarify this. We start our first tour from the Landgut Hotel Schenkenberger Hof in Schenkenberg. It goes via Delitzsch to the Goitzschesee. We drive along the very lush lake promenade to the first highlight, the water level tower. Great observation tower in the middle of the water. In the café of the same name on the promenade there was also particularly delicious cakes. The route takes us back to the starting point on very good paths through untouched nature. You will remember a very nice tour with many new impressions.
