Tour ends exactly at the point in the north of Alcohuaz. Further on it is prohibited. As so often in Chile. However the tour is very beautiful. Have good stamina and a MTB transmission,quite steep sometimes. You can start the tour southbound, but you will face more traffic. Traffic was very low 🔅

Tour is only suitable for people who do sports regularly. Relatively long climb through the forest,. Generally steep terrain, but the path is perfectly laid out in switchbacks. Markings aren't that good at first, but actually get very, very good over time. Danger of explosive ordnance! Do not leave hiking

A super beautiful tour, strenuous, with virtually no cars. Two-thirds asphalt, moderately steep, one-third sand, and two difficult climbs, but manageable. We returned the same route.
