Again on (almost) car-free routes, some also unpaved. Detour to the old town of Meppen. Start in the south of Lingen (Hotel Märchenwald). Again very well signposted.

The reservoir in Geeste is highly recommended for swimming and relaxing. Clean water, sunny beaches, dunes, but also shady places under trees.

The 6th stage Lingen - Haren gave us many impressions again. Unfortunately we didn't see the Ems very often on this stage. When it did appear, the pictures were always very beautiful. The Ems cycle path was easy to ride on this stage, even if it was not paved on many sections. A visit to Meppen was very worthwhile.
