Today we visited the lively and beautiful city of Aix-en-Provence. Aix is the hometown of Paul Cézanne, who attended school here alongside Emile Zola. Aix-en-Provence has about 150,000 inhabitants, making it smaller than Potsdam; but compared to Aix, Potsdam seems like a sleepy little town. That's probably the French savoir-vivre. I'm impressed.

I had planned a route from the station via the gîte to drop off my backpack, and I had obviously planned the arrival of the entire circuit in the city right next to my gîte... Komoot thought I had arrived and so it "erased" the entire planned route... …

Aix-en-Provence for the second time. Because we just like the city center. Today was also market day. From clothing to jewelry and hand tools to food. Very nice and mostly of good quality.
