Second day of the Werra bike tour: we started in Meiningen and then went in search of the perfect Thuringian bratwurst. Wasn't that easy, but we found what we were looking for in Bad Salzungen. Then we crossed the border and went into the potash mining area.

The longer I cycle the Werra cycle path, the more I like it. The landscape is wonderful, the houses are very beautiful in different styles. Sometimes up, sometimes down, mostly paved paths, sometimes there are other types of terrain, but they are easy to cycle on. Since I travel with a tent, I have always had great little campsites. 😊🏕️🚵🚴
