Rainy at first, then the sun came out from noon. A drive through beautiful corridors and fields. The highlight was the Cadolzburg, an early castle of the Franconian branch of the Hohenzollerns. There you can try out a lot for yourself, put on a knight's helmet or try out one of the medieval beds. 🤴👸

Back from the short vacation, very nice route except for the last 20 km Rothenburger Hauptstraße 🤮 .
Otherwise the weather is very humid 🥵 which is kind of deadly 😅. Nice encounters with people and animals ...

Oh yes, praise the cemeteries with their drinking water supply and a public (actually always clean) toilet 🚽.

Today from Schillingsfürst to Nuremberg. The first 20km on the former Schillingsfürst-Rothenburg railway line.

From Rothenburg on the Paneuropa cycle path. This to Zirndorf mostly identical to the Bibert cycle path. Nice, little traffic.
