Today, a visit to Eutin, where I spent two weeks in a youth hostel with my sister over 50 years ago.
I didn't really recognize anything, though; it was too long ago.
Today we started at Eutin Castle, which, of course, was a great photo opportunity in the beautiful weather. It's a very nice spot.

We still had time today until we could check into our accommodation in Bad Malente at 3:00 p.m. Eutin Castle was right on our way, so we headed straight in. Picturesquely situated on the banks of two lakes, Eutin with its well-preserved old town and its impressive castle is a worthwhile destination.

The old Eutin windmill (known as "Ol" in German, meaning "Moder Grau") is an old gallery-style Dutch windmill. Due to its elevated position, it is one of the characteristic buildings in Eutin.

Today @joklhe and I took a train trip to Eutin. A leisurely stroll with shopping and sightseeing. A lovely little town with half-timbered houses and a pleasant atmosphere. We visited St. Michael's Church and Eutin Castle with its beautiful garden.
