Of course, a trip around the Völkermarkt reservoir is part of a holiday in the Völkermarkt region.
Our first short stop was at the Kleinsee right next to the Klopeiner See. The night before we were there on foot, but you can't see much in the dark. Seen in daylight, a nice lake.
It continued down to the Drau, funnily …

The Drau cycle path is a great challenge for trained e-bike riders. Cycle path partially closed, diversion poorly signposted - leads to a busy federal highway. Tour suggestion from Google Maps ends in mud chaos in the forest. The closed section of the Drau cycle path is passable - with small construction sites. So: Don't be impressed by barriers!

The Drauradweg is currently closed in the direction of Völkermarkt due to damage caused by the weather. We then drove a bit on the main road, but it's not recommended because of the traffic!
