    Directly from Kaiserbrunn away leads a steep path from the north on the Rax. It goes consistently steeply uphill. For this way to Raxalpen Berggasthof you have to take 2.5 hours of sweaty ascent.
    From Kaiserbrunn, the route first goes through a dense forest, which offers views of the Schneeberg opposite. A few places can be overcome with simple climbing, which are usually secured with ladders or ropes.

    The Camillo-Kronich-Steig, also known as the Brandschneide (Brand Edge), is a classic climb up the Rax. It requires surefootedness and good fitness, but offers magnificent views and impressive vistas down into the valley. A varied alpine climb, it's one of the most beautiful routes up the Rax.

The trail requires surefootedness and good fitness, but rewards with impressive views down into the valley and magnificent vistas of the surrounding mountains. A varied alpine trail that is one of the most beautiful climbs in the region.
