Pontevedra has one of the best preserved historic centers in all of Galicia. It was also declared a Historic-Artistic Site in 1951, and is undoubtedly the witness in stone of the medieval splendor that the city experienced. Here, the cliché is realized that the best way to discover a place is by walking through its streets, squares and most emblematic places and immersing yourself fully in its culture, and also in its history.
