For sun-seekers, a stop at the sandy beach is recommended. However, it is very crowded on hot weekends. If necessary, you can take refuge in the restaurant next door.

At the Obersee you can hear the nearby motorway, but at the front end (where the beach is) you can hardly hear it.

Unfortunately, the beautiful lake can not be circumnavigated. Strandbad and away on the northern shore are extremely crowded in summer. When the bathing season is over, there is usually a heavenly peace. From Obersee a forest path leads directly to Ützdorf, to Liepnitzsee.
