Loguivy-de-la-mer is a pretty, typically Breton fishing port, relaxing for some, inspiring for others. François Budet, an eminent Breton poet, sang music about him that became an anthem for the region:
“Loguivy-de-la-mer, Loguivy de la mer
You watch the last true sailors die
Loguivy-de-la-mer, at the bottom of your old port
The carcasses of already dead boats are piled up.”

Loguivy-de-la-mer, at the bottom of your old port
The carcasses of already dead boats are piled up.”

A nice little harbor. Protected by rocks, with the possibility of sitting. There is a hotel with a bar and a creperie. The GR34 also runs long here.
