The church in Lieberhausen is a quarry stone building with a west tower, transept and originally rectangular choir, 23.80 m long (with tower), 11.70 m wide. The pillar basilica, dating from the 11th century, is furnished with wall and ceiling paintings, some of which date back to medieval frescoes that were originally made to bring the Christian message to the inexperienced people of the Middle Ages.

Directly opposite the "Colorful Kerke" with its wonderful pictures of the 10 commandments, a very special temptation lures in the excellent country inn: an egg cake. You can enjoy it hearty with ham or sweet with blueberries. A pleasure that also attracts guests from the surrounding area. Note opening times!
