    For many, the ascent to Cura Monastery only begins in Randa. That's not quite right. Because from Montuïri to Rand you have to cover almost 200 meters in altitude. And you usually have the wind against you. So it's no wonder that you get a little desperate here when things just don't go well. In the opposite direction, of course, it looks different. You literally fly there.

    Five kilometers north of Llucmajor is Randa, the starting point of the serpentine route to Puig de Randa.
    Randa is a small village that lies at the foot of the mountain of Randa. It is located in the center of the island, in the municipality of Algaida. On the mountain are the Hermitage of Saint Honorius, the Monastery of Nostra Senyora de Gràcia and the Monastery of Nostra Senyora de Cura.
