At the Col de Bussang, the Mosel springs and from here it takes its winding path to Koblenz, where it flows into the Rhine.
That's 550 kilometers of river and that also gives you an idea of how much it meanders. Because as the crow flies this distance is not 280 kilometers.
As a native of Moselle almost a place of pilgrimage for me. ;-)

The Moselle spring is the source of the lifeline around which a rich culture has developed. If you want to ride the Mosel cycle path, it is worthwhile to visit and appreciate this origin.
