Taman Tirta Gangga is a water palace in East Bali. However, this is not a palace in the true sense, but a 1.2 hectare recreation park with water basins, ponds, water features, a public swimming pool and a temple.
All of the water pools and games at Taman Tirta Gangga are fed by a sacred spring. This is located under a banyan tree on the top of the three palace or park levels. The water palace Tirta Gangga also owes its name to the holy spring. Taman Tirta Gangga means something like "holy water of the Ganges".
