After the church of Santa Maria and the monastery were burned down to the ground in 1593, it took until 1691 for the church and the Benedictine convent of San Buenaventura to be rebuilt in their present form.

Be sure to detour either on the way up or down at the convent on the route, you can follow the dry river bed path and cross wooden bridges. For some reason the mas of tourism does not visit this site or they don't look for it, so enjoy the tranquility for yourself
