The area features a collection of five or six distinct rocky outcrops, with one even playfully noted for its resemblance to a "crooked nose witch." Yes, Sourton Tors is rich in history. You can discover the remnants of a disused Ice Works, which operated in the late 19th century, on the northern side of the tor.
