In keeping with the European elections in 2019, the Jugend-Schönau, 72-hour project, created a Europa Hain. An old juniper grove / hedge was restored by new juniper plants. Each new juniper shrub stands for a local deceased in World War II. Through a barcode, you can learn something about the person.
Of course, the Europasterne and seating are not missing. The grove is right next to the memorial. The created stars, made of rubble, should be a refuge for small animals.
