This ascent / descent is quite strenuous, as it goes over a good 1 km distance and 400 vertical meters with a slope of largely 37% to 43%. Coming from the bottom, the Grünsteinscharte with a nice view of the two sides of the saddle awaits you.

The descent I do not want to do, because it is on the gravel and gravel on this slope, firstly in the legs and secondly not entirely harmless. Coming from the top you go down to the so-called "hell".

Coming from Höllgipfel the tour direction Grünsteinscharte, first steeply down the scree then again with a crazy slope up over a relatively loose boulder field, felt 2 steps before and 1 back, a really hellish journey, especially since the sun bangs full purely.
Anyone who wants to get through this must either be up very early or very hard.
However, the drag is rewarded with magnificent views of the surrounding peaks.
