On the 678 meter high Radspitze there is a square stone tower north of Seibelsdorf on the Franconian Forest ridge. The upper floor is boarded with larch wood and has a roof. The viewing terrace is 12.5 meters high, and there is also another platform 18 meters high.

A comprehensive panoramic view is offered. In the southeast you can see the Fichtelgebirge, in the south the Franconian Jura plateau with Staffelberg, in the west the Steigerwald, Hassberge and Rhön, in the northwest the Thuringian Forest and the Franconian Forest.

The Radspitze is located on the southern edge of the Franconian Forest, on the Franconian Line. The summit is made of silica slate.
There is a 20 meter high observation tower on the mountain. The Radspitzturm in its current form was built in 1955 by the Seibelsdorf group of the Franconian Forest Association. As early as the middle of the 19th century, there was a wooden signal on the tip of the wheel. The first wooden observation tower was built in 1886, but only withstood the weather until 1898.

The Radspitzturm, a lookout tower of the Frankenwaldverein e. V., offers a beautiful view over the Franconian Forest and the Obermainische Bruchschollenland. The seats on the tower invite you to take a break.
