The easiest and most beautiful access from below starts from Stiefelhagen. Follow the closed road to the bend. There is a high fence there to protect the nature reserve from cyclists. At the left end of the fence is a viewing point with benches. From there you walk around the fence on a path and then follow it below the quarry. The last climb is made easier by steps and a railing. You can enjoy the beautiful view from the path.

When the poinsettia shines on the tower, the tower is closed to visitors. Here you have to wait until the end of January before the tower can be climbed again.
