The city of Riedenburg is located in the Altmühltal between Kehlheim and Beilngries. The Altmühl Panoramaweg leads directly through the recognized health resort. In a historic setting (first mentioned in 1111), the traveler can spend a break here and strengthen themselves. Museums, churches and other attractions delight the culturally interested. A special highlight is the medieval festival, which takes place every two years. For the maintenance of the fluid balance, the two local breweries offer themselves.

Very beautiful city directly on the Altmühl surrounded by three castles and a wonderful rocky backdrop. In addition to the Rosenburg with Falkenhof and the two ruins Rabenstein and Tachenstein, there is still a lot to see in the small town. Whether hikers or cyclists, everyone gets their money's worth here, plus there are historical buildings and very nice places to stop for refreshments in the city.

Beautiful city at the foot of the Rosenburg. You can use the summer toboggan run there or take the excursion boat to Kehlheim. There are very good ice cream parlors there. The Falknershow in the Rosenburg is extraordinary.
