Ile de Pietra is open again and has been massively redesigned.
The parking lot has been modernized and the island is now car-free and the little train only goes to the parking lot and no longer to the lighthouse.
All in all, the island has clearly benefited from this.

The municipality of L'Île-Rousse is located on the north coast of the island of Corsica in the Balagne region. The municipality also includes the offshore islands of Île de la Pietra, Isula di u Brocciu and Isula Piana. Except for the sandy beach section Plage du Caruchettu in the east, the coast is rocky and steep.
