Very exciting tour that begins and ends in Remédios. At the top you are at the Janela do Inferno (hell window).
In Remédios you will find a snac bar and, like the Portuguese, you can enjoy a cheap snac or something to drink.
For this tour, it is advisable to bring a flashlight as you have to crawl through 2 longer tunnels.

The path in the gorge to the "Janela do Inferno" in German "hell window" is quite varied. Sometimes the path leads up along the walls, sometimes you cross the valley floor via viaducts with little or no railings, or run along the walls between the water pipes.

When you come through the first tunnel, you are in a different world. A moment ago you were still on dirt roads and the landscape was reminiscent of Ireland with the hilly pastures and grazing cows. Behind the tunnel everything was full of ginger lilies, crescent firs and tree ferns. From Ireland to the jungle - where else do you get this on earth. A beautiful section to the waterfall and back out of this narrow valley.
