The exciting thing about such sculptures, which are made of plants: They change, are subject to change and growth - and at some point to decay.

With "Back to the Roots", Will Beckers wove a hall out of willows as an enclosure for people and animals. With this basic form and the location on the water, he also symbolizes the roots of our existence and quotes one of the first forms of life, the amoeba.
