"Precise like Berthold brass" - that's what they said, alluding to the successful entrepreneur Hermann Berthold, who became famous as the inventor of the uniform and binding font measurement system that revolutionized book printing. His neoclassical villa, completed in 1883, is one of the outstanding examples of Wilhelmine architecture due to its architectural integrity and structural unity.

The Villa Oechsler is considered a monument of spa architecture in the Baltic Sea resort of Heringsdorf on the island of Usedom. It was built in 1883 in the center of the seaside resort on today's Delbrückstrasse. Their striking appearance immediately catches the eye. On its gable facing the lake there is the valuable glass mosaic 'Bathing Graces' by Antonio Salviati, which is why the building is also of art historical importance.
Today (July 2019) there is a fashion store here.
