Magnificent route that leads through a high alpine landscape and swings with a number of serpentines to the proud height of 2407 meters. Only the passage through the ski station Pas de la Casa clouded the overall impression a bit, like all winter sports castles, this one also makes a slightly post-apocalyptic impression in summer. The border to Andorra runs over the pass and it is recommended to check the mobile phone tariff again - EU roaming is not valid in Andorra, among other places - can be very expensive ...

24km of up! A long, steady climb that takes you up to the highest point in Andorra at 2400m elevation. There's an on-road cycle path pretty much all the way and every kilometre is signposted with the upcoming gradient so you know what to expect. Just be aware of temperature changes as it can be pretty cold at the top and you'll need some extra layers for descending.
