Very impressive mill and the only water powered gold mill in Death Valley. The approach is quite wide and ruppelig until you have to change to foot operation anyway.

Do not be put off by the grassy townsite. Drive the road about 500 further to the "Trailhead" to come.

The Historic Skidoo Mill is the only water-powered milling plant in Death Valley. The milll used to power the town and mine that was located at this site. Much of the structure is still standing, so it is an impressive site to visit.
