Open for most of the summer and located just below the Apennine ridge, the Taburri refuge has a bar area, a small kitchen with 21 beds. It is possible to camp with a tent in the garden in front and is managed with passion by Sara and Stefano. To book or get more information, visit the refuge's website: rifugiotaburri.it.

Beautiful refuge in a great location, just above the Doccione Falls. Very nice view from the square in front of the refuge. There is also a fountain for a short supply, but I also recommend stopping for a nice meal at the refuge.

It starts from Fanano, through a comfortable forest road in dirt after about 11 km and 650 meters in altitude you reach the refuge. Before the hut you can admire the beautiful waterfall of the Doccione. The owners are very hospitable and the summer weekends they organize fantastic grilled dinners
