Picturesquely situated on the banks of the Upper Saale, Burgk Castle, the former Reuss residence, not only houses historic living and showrooms as well as a precious interior, but with its collections, exhibitions, concerts and festivals, it is also a cultural centre in eastern Thuringia and is considered one of the most beautiful castles in central Germany.
