The colorful staircase was named in honor of Agatha Christie. It's a wonderful idea to decorate the stairs in this way and thus honor her. Once you reach the top, you should walk another 200 meters or so. From the viewpoint, you can enjoy a fantastic sunset over the city.
A hike here is highly recommended and quite interesting 👍🏻.

Agatha Christie: A New Beginning in the Canary Islands
Crime writer Agatha Christie first came to Santa Cruz de Tenerife in 1927. She had just been left by her husband and was suffering from deep depression. The Canary Islands healed her wounds and provided her with inspiration for her novels.
Agatha Christie did her writing with the help of her secretary, to whom she dictated orally while typing. During her stay in the Canary Islands, she wrote the majority of her long-awaited new book, "The Mystery of the Blue Train."
